Description

A newspaper clipping with an advertisement for tracts in North Whittier Heights, ca. 1910-1914. The advertisement states that unplanted and planted tracts are available for purchase, and that approximately 175 acres of the property have been set to Valencia oranges, Eureka lemons, and March seedless grapefruits. The advertisement also states that the prices of the groves are expected to increase in the year of 1914. The advertisement instructs readers to contact Edwin G. Hart for descriptive folders. A business address and phone numbers are provided. Two more real estate advertisements are present on the back side of the clipping. With pin holes, a stain, severe discoloration, and brittleness caused by the acidity of its paper material, the object is in fair condition overall.
