Description
A note from an unknown author regarding a 55 acre property near San Dimas, California and Covina, California, ca. 1917. The note seems to be an illustration of a $6,000 property which is described in a letter from the HM Collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1410). If this is indeed the same property, the land would have been considered part of the Charter Oak District. The note refers to the property as "Lot 6" and shows that it is close to a fork in the road which branches off of Badillo Street. Hollenbeck Road is shown as crossing through a portion of the land. A few groves, houses, and orchards are indicated in the surrounding area. With creases, pin holes, a minor tear, minor acid burns, and severe yellowing, the object is in good condition overall.
