2013.761.1.1Description
A page from an atlas showing part of Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. There is a tab at one edge with the number "16" on it and numbers outlying the map are for adjacent pages. The area shown goes from the Plaza, Fort Moore Hill and the Park Tract on the south to just below Elysian Park to the north and from near the Bellevue Tract on the west to close to the Los Angeles River on the west. Tract names, block and lot numbers, lot dimensions, street names and landmark locations, such as the Plaza, the Fort Hill Cemetery, and the "Hebrew Cemetery" are of note. With folds, browning, small tears, creases, and soiling, the condition is good overall.Lexicon
