Description
A page from the magazine, "The Graphic," with prints of "Wheat Farming in California," 14 July 1883. The five images show seasonal processes in growing the field crop, inclding November's ploughing; January's broadcast sowing; June's heading; July's threshing; and July's warehousing. On the reverse are advertisements of many kinds throughout Great Britain, where the magazine was published. With some creases, light soiling and very light browning, the condition is good.
