A pamphlet for Bible Tag Day, Los Angeles, 3 February 1912. The event was to promote the placement of Gideon bibles in 25,000 hotel and lodging house rooms in Los Angeles. On the reverse is a facsimile of the tag that was to be sold on that day to allow for the purchases and the tag had an advertisement for the appearance of preacher Gipsy Smith at the Shrine Auditoriium from late January to mid February. With a torn bottom spine, a damp stain at the top left, light soiling and modest rubbing, the condition is good overall.
