Description
A pamphlet for Patton's Creole Revue and Bob Hampton's Whiz-Bang Syncopators, ca. 1928. The four-page item highlights the 20 African-American "creole" performers including "Ten Fast Steppin' Hi-Brown Belles" along with comedians and singers. Promoted was the entertainment that "the true negro artists" did with new songs, "beautiful costumes" and a "dazzling and bewildering" presentation. Booking was through Carey J. Chandler of the Broadway Palace Theatre. With browning, light soiling, and a few creases, the condition is good.
