Description

A pamphlet for the Flintridge Biltmore Hotel, ca. 1928. The item promotes the hotel, built by Sen. Frank P. Flint and designed by Myron Hunt in 1927 and ran by the Biltmore Hotel chain after 1928, located in today's La Canada Flintridge, but identified as Pasadena in the brochure. In addition to descriptions, there are numerous photo illustrations. The hotel closed in 1931 and became Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, a Roman Catholic girls' school still operating on the site. With some soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is good.
