A pamphlet for the Mission Play, San Gabriel, 1919. The item contains a description of the passion play, held near the mission, and provides the program information of acts, scenes, characters and the names of the actors, including lead performer Frederick Warde. There is also a panel with show times, ticket prices and other information and a large ad from the Pacific Electric Railway, which offered service to the venue, with a map of its regional system. With creases, light soiling, a small fold end tear, and damage from tape from the package when the packing material fell onto the front panel upon opening, the overall condition is good.
