Description
A panoramic photograph of persons at an International Order of Eagles annual picnic, Brookside Park, Pasadena, Thompson, 15 June 1926. There are dozens of persons of all ages, all white except two men in the front left who appear to be Asian or Pacific Islander, sitting on chairs or the grass or standing in an area of the park where there are sycamore, pine and pepper trees. In the center is the banner for the Pasadena aerie (lodge) of the fraternal organization. Captions are at the bottom and right for the event and photographer, who was from Santa Monica. With an edge tear at the right and some creases, light soiling and minor edge abrasion, as well as requiring weights to flatten the rolled-up artifact, the condition is good overall.
