Description
A panoramic portrait of fourth-grade students and a teacher, Hawthorne Elementary School, 20 October 1926. The image shows twenty-six students and the teacher standing on a bench or on the ground in front of the school building. While most, including the teacher, are white, several are Asian, evidently Japanese. The school, grade and date are written in white at the bottom right. With soiling, rippling, creases, and edge rubbing, the condition is good overall.
