Description
A panoramic snapshot photograph of a woman on a brick paved residential street, Los Angeles, January 1922. The woman, wearing a black knee-length dress, a black coat, and a light colored hat, stands in the middle of the largely empty street, although there is a car parked at the side of the road to the right. The neighborhood appears to be an upper-class one, judging from the portions of homes seen behind the heavily landscaped lots and sidewalk medians. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads: "A Street of Los Angeles / Jan 1922 / Elsa." Other than a rippling effect to the paper and some light soiling, the condition is good.
