Description
A panoramic snapshot photograph of a woman on the sidewalk of a Los Angeles residential street, January 1922. The woman, wearing a black knee-length dress and coat and a light-colored hat, is at right and the shadow of the photographer is in the foreground. The paved street is deserted, but the size of the home across the road indicates an upper-class neighborhood that is also thickly landscaped. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads: "A street of Los Angeles / Jan 1922." With some rippling of the paper and light soiling, the condition is good.
