Description
A panoramic view northeast of Elysian Park, Los Angeles, 29 April 1923. Taken from a hilltop vantage point, the image takes in the railroad tracks and Los Angeles River in the foreground and the area embracing the neighborhoods of Cypress Park, Glassell Park, and Mount Washington, though much of the hills in the latter are undeveloped. On the reverse is an ink inscription with the date and description, though album paper residue covers some of the writing. With some soiling, creases and abrasions along the edge, the overall condition is good.
