Description
A panoramic view of a residential area of Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. Taken from elevated position, perhaps a hillside, the image shows new houses in construction in the foreground and other homes interspersed with undeveloped spaces, possibly farmland. A pencil inscription on the revere simply reads, "L.A.," and the location might be East Los Angeles or South Los Angeles. With losses at the left corners, some heavy staining and soiling primarily at the left and edge tears at the upper right, moderate yellowing, the condition is overall fair.
