A panoramic view of the Hollywoodland subdivision, Los Angeles, ca. 1924. Taken from a hillside, the image takes on construction sites of three homes, two with homes nearly complete and one in the grading stage, and shows a winding road with streelights and graded and undeveloped hillsides. At the upper right is most of the "Hollywoodland" sign that is now the famed "Hollywood" sign. In the foreground, some touch up work with paint was done to enhance the image. On the reverse are some pencil inscriptions and a label for John D. Roche, Inc. from perhaps the 1950s. With some soiiling, stains, edge rubbing and, on the reverse, tape residue, the condition is fair.
