Name/Title
A parade in downtown Los AngelesEntry/Object ID
2010.61.1.1Description
A parade in downtown Los Angeles, Aerograph Company, ca. 1910s. The view shows a flower-covered vehicle in the foreground at left and, down the street, marchers and other floats. Crowds line the streets and sidewalks watching, as well as from rooftops and building windows. There are many banners and American flags on wires over the street and hanging from structures. The nature of the function is not clear, but it may be a fraternal conference. On the back is the stamp of the photographer. With some soiling, corner creases, a dented lower right corner and some yellowing, the overall condition is good.
