Description
A real photo postcard of a patriotic-themed float at the Los Angeles Electrical Parade, 1912. The image shows several young women aboard the vehicle which has a large eagle atop it, portions of an American flag, a red, white and blue shield, and several stars as major design features. On the reverse of the postally unused card, which has a #12 at the lower left, is a pencil inscription: "Electric float / night parade." With album paper and glue residue on the reverse, silvering along the top, and edge abrasion, the condition is overall good.
