Description

A photo album page of images and a textual statement related to the Boys Republic school, Chino, ca. 1914. On one side are two photographs printed on postcard paper. At the top is a building from the facility, which opened as George Junior Republic in 1907 in what is now Chino Hills. The other is a shot of twenty boys and a woman sitting or standing on a tree branch across a road. On the reverse is a date of 1 November 1914 and identifications of the persons by surname. On the reverse is a 1914 photo of two persons, assumed to be Clyde and Lydia Doyle. Also present is a statement by Mrs. Doyle, written in 1963, about her marriage. With some soiling on the photos and wear to the pages, the condition is fair.
