Description
A photo album page of black and white photographs of the Ringling Brothers circus in a Los Angeles parade, a man srinking from a stream on a trail to Mt. Wilson, and the same man diving into the ocean at Venice, 1913. The three views of the circus show a procession of elephants with men atop some of them, another of camels pulling a wagon, and a third of a team of horses leading another vehicle. Parts of downtown commercial buildings and spectators crowded on the sidewalk are in view. On the reverse, the man, identified only as "Loebel" is shown bending over on a rocky stream and cupping water to his mouth. The last image shows him diving mid-air into the ocean. The Mt. Wilson view is dated 2 February 1913 and all have captioning in ink. The photos have some soiling and silvering, while the page is fragile, torn, worn and soiled, so the overall condiiton is fair.
