Description
A photo album page with two photographs of a Los Angeles Turnverein dinner and a tourist group near a bus, June 1908. The first image shows hundreds of persons in a large hall sitting at long wooden tables. At the top is an ink inscription reading "Turn Fest, Los Angeles / June 27-29-1908." On the reverse is a group of about two dozen persons and a uniformed driver standing on or in front of a canopied vehicle parked on the curb near some commercial structures, though there is no identification and it is not certain if the location is Los Angeles. With missing corner pieces, creases, and wear to the page, but the images clear, the overall condition is good.
