Description
A black and white photo of a group on the sand at Long Beach, 4 July 1906. Nine persons are gathered closely together, including two children playing with the sand, four women and three men, all the adults wearing suits and ties, dresses and hats. At the upper right is a sign reading "Visit Tea Parlor" and a few other people are in view in that part of the image. Ink inscriptions at the bottom and reverse identify the location, date and people, though either by first name or as "Grandmother" and "Grandpa," excepting a Mr. Timm. As mounted, the image has minor soiling and moderate abrasions, and some fading, is in good overall condition.
