Description
A photo of a quartet of airplanes at the Sydney Chaplin Airport, Los Angeles, 1919. The Curtiss JN 40 (Jenny) machines are parked in a tow with pilots standing with their left hands on the propellers at the field, owned by the film actor and brother of star Charlie Chaplin, situated at the southwest corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue and later Rogers Airport. Aside from inscriptions on the front, there is a Westways Magazine stamp from November 1925. With corner pinholes, a bit of the top right corner missing, creases, slight warping and soiling, the condition is fair.
