Description
A photo of a woman in aviation gear sitting atop the cockpit in a biplane marked Rogers Airport, Los Angeles, ca. late 1920s. The woman wears a headcovering with goggles and a long, heavy coat and sits on the fuselage behind the cockpit and in front of the passenger seat of the craft, which has the airport name and location on its side. In ink is the inscription "PANCHO BARNES?" While the woman looks like the well-known aviator, it is not known if it is her. With album paper residue, some creases and light soiling, the condition is good.
