A photo of California governor C. C. Young and R. A. Condee with a prize cow, Los Angeles, A. H. Blackmore, 1928 or 1929. The governor is at left, hoding a bridle strap in his hand, while Condee stands behind the animal. The scene is obviously an agricultural fair, but the location is not identified. There is an ink inscription identifying the two men and the animal and a pencil inscription reads About 1928 or 1929. The stamp of Blackmore identifies him as a Breeders Photo Service in Highland Park. With some creased corners, mild soiling and minor edge rubbing, the condition is good.
