Description
A photo of Chinese marchers in a Los Angeles parade, ca. 1890s. The image shows marchers on a downtown street, some carrying banners on poles, flags and small wheeled displays. Crowds are on a bandstand, in buildings and along the sidewalks for what was likely a La Fiesta de Los Angeles event. The photo was originally adhered to an album page but was removed for conservational reasons. With some warping, discoloration, bumping, adhesive residue, light soiling and light fading, the general condition is good.
