Description
A photo of the tent and entry for the Los Angeles Auto Show, M.L. Bailey, 1929. The elevated view from across the venue shows a very large tent on a lot. Decorative elements at the front evoke a Middle Eastern-like landscape and there is sand placed across the front and palm trees planted in the lot, that flank the entry walk. Two banners, one reading "Auto" and the other "Show" are at the entry. Other photos in the acquisition, show the damage from a fire that destroyed the tents. With a small missing piece in the upper portion of the left margin, stains on the reverse, and creases, the overall condition is good.
