Description
A photo of workers in a construction crew, said to be in the Los Angeles River, H. George McMannus, ca. 1920s. The view shows a man in a light suit, tie, and hat sanding on a wooden joist at the right, while five men in worh clothes appear to be pouring concrete in the wood framed area supported by rebar. A fence and outbuilding are in the background, but the exact location is unidentified.The photographer's stamp, trim lines and markings, and residue from album paper are on the reverse. With minimal soiling, warping, and yellowing as well, the condition is good.
