Description

A photograph of a Follows Camp wagon crossing the San Gabriel River, ca. 1920s. The image shows the four-horse-drawn open vehicle crossing the water course, which was surging past the team as it stopped in the river. In addition to the driver, there are six men in suits and hats in the conveyance. In the distance are some tall trees and mountains and it is likely this was taken in the east fork where Follows Camp was located. With many small stains, soiling, a missing piece of a corner, darkening of image, creases and abrasions, the overall condition is fair.
