Description
A photograph of a hillside and dock along the Columbia River, 1930-1931. In view is the river with a wooden dock visible on the lower, bottom right of the image as well as a hillside covered in grass and trees. On the reverse of the image is an inscription written in ink detailing that Yvette and Emeline were "Crossing Columbia River on vacation/1st vacation to Canada/1930-1931/Yvette + Em in Chevy a one car ferry drifted." Yvette and Emeline are in other photographs within this acquisition. With minor warping, blue and black ink inscriptions, a photographer's stamp of "VELOX," and "ANDERSON/Photo Service/EL MONTE, it is in good condition overall.
