Description

A photograph of a young Japanese boy standing next to a barn or house at a produce farm, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The young boy wears a white, short sleeved shirt and pants. He stands in front of a clapboard farm house or barn. The structure appears to have two floors. There is a covered back porch area, side shed, and a smoke chimney stack on the roof. At the far right background is another building or home with a large tree covering a portion of it. The place was a produce farm where a Japanese American family worked to harvest the produce. The images are most likely associated with the Sun Produce Co. farm. With minor mirroring at the botton corners, warping, album adhesive residue on the reverse side and a Velox stamp. It is in good condition overall.
