Description
A photograph of a young girl, possibly Inez Fatjo (b.1932), sitting outdoors, ca. 1930s. Inez appears to be about five years old. She is seated on a wooden structure, or a sand box. The outdoor setting is either a park or residential garden space. She wears a sun hat that has a ribbon tied around its base, a short-sleeved dress. Inez holds a kitten in her lap as she looks toward the left, away from the camera. In the background are a thick set of hedges and a large oak tree in the farther background. The photo is in good condition despite the minor warping, stain and photographer's stamp of "Photo finishing/By/David Keeble/Palo Alto, Calif." The area of the photographer's studio is in the San Francisco area where Inez and her parents lived.
