Description
A photograph of Edgar and Agnes Temple play fighting on a beach, ca. 1920s. Both siblings are wearing bathing suits and are wrapped in seaweed as Edgar mockingly raises a piece of drift wood behind him and holds his sister, Agnes with the other hand. Agnes playfully leans back and she raises her left hand toward him in a pleading gesture. At the far left is Frank Romero, who worked for the Temple family as the ranch foreman for the Homestead. He is seen sitting on a blanket on the sand, smiling as he looks on at the siblings as they play fight. Romero wears a newsboy cap, light colored shirt, and trousers. The background shows a small cliff or mound of dirt and some seaweed. With minor warping, soiling, and a stamp on the reverse "42." It is in good condition.
