A photograph of Edgar and Walter Temple Jr., next to a planter, near the Water Tower, Homestead, ca. 1920s. Edgar and Wally pose in a mock fight stance near the large planter south and east of the tower, east of the auditorium and east of the garage. Edgar stands on the left and has on a kaiser helmet while aiming a pistol toward the right. Wally stands on the right and has on a sombrero, a sword hangs from his right hip as he holds a rifle with both hands. In between the brothers is a pile of rifles stacked together, leaning against the planter. The planter has various overgrown palms and other shrubbery. At the background on the left is the Water Tower with the door and upper level, wooden water barrel in view, below that is one the family automobile, parked in front of the tower, and a portion of the gate in front of the tower. With moderate fading, and photographer's stamps of "VELOX" and "20" on the reverse, it is in good to fair condition.
