Description
A photograph of Josephine M. Workman (actor Princess Mona Darkfeather) with a horse, ca. 1913. The image shows Workman in a pinstriped outfit like overalls and a head covering, crouching next to a horse lying on the ground and holding her hand to the animal's mouth as if feeding it. In the background is an outbuilding, likely a garage with a car in it, and a house. The horse was likely the actor's steed, Comanche, used in her films. With a dogeared corner, a missing corner, substantial dampstaining, fading and heavy soiling, the condition is poor.
