Description
A photograph of Ruth Slatey near the Redondo Hotel, Redondo Beach, ca. 1890s. The view is taken from the very wide driveway leading to the rambling and ornately ornamented hostelry which overlooked the ocean. Some of the front and all of one side are in view behind the little girl who stands on the drive near a planter. At the bottom is her name and the hotel's name. The image is mounted on a thick card and appears clean, though there are creases, soiling and abrasions to the card, so the overall condition is good.
