Description
A photograph of The Edward Sidebotham and Son sand and gravel plant, Lomita, California, 5 December 1929. The plant structure is visible with conveyor belts, crushers and other components at the center and has the company name on a sign at the left. Two small wooden sheds are at the left and another at the right, this latter being at the base of a large mountain of sand. A car is parked in the foreground and in the background are some hills. An ink inscription on the reverse reads, "Edw. Sidebotham & Son / Lomita, Calif. / Old Plant / Dec. 5th 1929." With album paper residue, moderate fading, a small stain, minor soiling, and warping, the overall condition is good to fair.
