Description
A photograph of the entrance of the Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles, ca. 1911. The view shows the lighted cover, built in signs at the entrance end, parts of street level shops and window signage for some of the offices above as well as decorative details including bas-relief figures and sculpted lanterns. The name of G. Albert Lansburgh is at the lower right and on a typed caption on the album board on which the photo is mounted. With edge silvering, light staining and a stain or two, the condition is good.
