Description
A photograph of the Hotel Arcadia, Santa Monica, 1905. Taken from the garden, the view shows most of the front and part of the north side of the seaside hotel with its long span in front and open central tower with the witches hat atop it. The hotel name is on the front just below the peak of the roof above the entrance. The landscaping in the foreground inclues a driveway, lawn, planter and palm trees. A pencil inscription on the reverse identifies the location and date. With rippling from album paper residue on the reverse, warping, a stain at the top right corner and minimal soiling, the overall condition is good.
