Description
A photograph of the northwest corner of Main and 5th streets, Los Angeles C. C. Pierce, 1885. The image shows a residential district with parts of a couple of houses, front yards with trees, bushes and lawns, pepper trees on the street, and other details. Pencil inscriptions note that the site was later the Rosslyn Hotel and that the house on the left on Main was that of "J. Jones," probably John Jones. With minimal soiling and rubbing, the condition is good overall.
