Description
A photograph of the Stimson House, Los Angeles, ca. 1896. The image shows the Romanesque mansion, built by Thomas D. Stimson, at Figueroa north of Adams in the Exposition Park/USC area of Los Angeles. The view is taken from the south and takes in the south and east elevations of massive residence, built in 1891, and which is now a convent. The condition is good overall despite the moderate browning and warping.
