A photograph of the "Trail to Mt. Wilson, Shasta Co., Cal.," Howard C. Tibbits, ca. 1910s. The view shows a few men with several packed mules emerging on a trail from the forest to what appears to be a cleared or open area. A thick stand of pine trees is behind the group. The title is written in ink at the bottom of a linen matte, on which the photo is pasted, but the reference to Shasta County is wrong, as Mount Wilson is in Los Angeles County. A stamped number is at the top right, while a crossed out number and one written next to it in pencil are at the bottom right. With some light soiling and ripples on the linen, the condition is good.,
