Description

A photograph of the Ville de Paris store, Los Angeles, ca. 1905. The view shows the three story building on Broadway south of 3rd Street and which extended west to Hill Street with the name of the store and its owner, A. Fusenot Co. in relief about the first floor. An awning stretches almost the entire length of the elevation. An automobile, bicycles and a horse-drawn vehicle along with a few pedestrians are along the curb and sidewalk. The photo is pasted down to an album board and a typed caption gives the name and location as well as the name of architect Harrison Albright. With creases, staining, soiling and a dent, the condition is fair.
