Description
A photograph of Thomas and Edgar Temple standing next to a deer, West Lawn of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1927-1930. Thomas stands at the left with his left hand in his pocket and the other hand holding a rifle. He wears rolled up, white shirt, vest and trousers with a hunter's hat. Edgar wears the same except he has on a fedora hat, has his left hand on his hip and holds a rifle with his right hand. The deer stands in between the brothers, looking directly at the camera. Behind them is the southeast gate of the Mission Walkway, shrubbery, trees, plants in the cement planters. With minor warping, a number stamp in black ink, "707" and soiling, it is in good condition.
