Description

A photograph of Thomas and Walter Temple, Governor Dummer Academy, Byfield, Massachusetts, 12 December 1926. The Temple brothers are standing outside, looking directly at the camera as they stand in front of a two-story, Colonial style structure, most likely a school building. Behind them appears to be shoveled snow placed on a small mound on the left. Thomas is on the left wearing a fedora hat, buttoned up long coat, and trousers. He looks at the camera and has both of his hands in his pocket as does Wally, his younger brother. Walter standing at the right wears a suit, collared shirt, buttoned jacke and trousers. An inscription written in pencil on the reverse reveals the location and date. With moderate fading, warping, minor creases, most noticable on the reverse, and a photographer's stamp of "15" on the bottom right corner, it is in good overall.
