Description
A photograph of Thomas W. Temple II standing at the Mission Walkway southeastern gate, La Casa Nueva, Homestead. ca. 1929. Thomas stands in front of the closed southeastern gate of the Mission Walkway and above that is the adobe archway with tile over it. Further in view at the background are the exposed wooden poles on the second floor patio and a portion of the eastern portico with shurbbery and trees. He wears a fedora hat and a suit with a tie and hankerchief on his coat breast pocket. He holds a leather travel satchel with one hand and places the other in his coat pocket and he looks at the camera. The inscription on the back reads "Your uncle Tom-with his Harvard bag on way to La-1929-at the Puente." With minor warping and a number stamp of "14" in black ink on the reverse, it is in good condition.
