A photograph of Walter and Edgar Temple, Governor Dummer Academy, Byfield, Massachusets ca. 1929. The youngest Temple brothers, Walter and Edgar are standing in front of what appears to be a private residence, however other photos in the collection taken at the same time have inscriptions which indicate the location was Governor Dummer Academy. Walter Jr. and Edgar attended the high school preparatory school during 1926-1929. The photo was taken during the same time as photo (.300) of this acquisition. Edgar is wearing a suit, he has his hands in his pockets while Edgar wears a sweater, thick over shirt, collared shirt, golfer's knickers, and a beanie hat. Behind the boys is a door and above is a hanging light, portions of a window with shutters. With moderate fading, warping, minor soiling on the reverse, and photographer's stamp of "41", it is in fair condition.Lexicon
