Description
A photograph of Westlake Park and nearby structures, 1929. The image shows the lake filled with ducks and park visitors. The area is now known as MacArthur Park. The background reveals trees and other shrubbery, buildings possibly apartments or hotels. An ink inscpription on the reverse side reads, "Westlake Park/Los Angeles Calif./ Jan. 1929," The photograph is in good condition overall despite the light creases, discoloration (yellowing), light surface soiling.
