Description
A photograph of Westlake Park in Los Angeles, ca.1890s. The photograph shows a view of the lake in the park with a walking path around it. The surrounding scene are adults and children sitting on the grass, walking by the lake, pushing a baby carriage, sitting on nearby benches. The park also has several trees including a row of palm trees. There is a pagoda structure on the left side on the other side of the lake. The photograph has a pencil inscription on the reverse. With staining to the top left, silverfish damage to the right edge, discoloration, and mirroring, the object is in fair condition.
