Description
A photograph of Whittier Boulevard, Montebello, California by the Aerograph Company, Los Angeles, 1924. The photographer stood in the middle of the street at an elevated position and takes in both sides of the main arterial roadway stretching into the distance. Commercial buildings line the road, automobiles are in motion and parked and a few pedestrians are on the sidewalks. This portion of the boulevard is far busier and there are more structures than in item .1. of this accession. An identification number is at lower left and the photographer's stamp and new telephone stamp are on the reverse as is the penciled date "1924." With a couple of stains on the edges, soiling, abrasion and, especially, three severe vertical creases, the condition is fair.
