Description
A photograph of Emilienne and Yvette on an unidentified beach, ca. 1920s. The two young women appear at the bottom of the image, though the photograph is torn, leaving only their heads and torsos visible. Emilienne has her back turned from the photographer and looks toward the left. She wears a gingham dress. The other young woman is Yvette. She wears a light colored dress and looks down at her lap. Behind the duo is a rocky bluff with a house sitting on top of it, appearing to be under construction. With a significant tear cut at an angle at the bottom of the photo, another cut to the top, left corner, fading to the image, photo stamp of "BRYL-YON-TAY/34" and moderate warping, and an inscription on the back written in blue ink, it is in fair to poor condition
